Dinosaur Days at San Antonio Branch Libraries
During the San Antonio Public Library’s free Dinosaur Days, kids five and under will get to use playdough with dinosaur stampers, cut-out dinosaurs to sort and match, find small plastic dinosaurs buried in a tub full of beans that they’ll “dig out” using chopsticks, and more.

Spring Native Plant Walk (at the 
East-Salado Creek Classroom)
Presenter: Wendy Leonard, Park Naturalist will provide one walk starting at 9:15 a.m. She will provide information about many native plants and their adaptations along the trails in the park. Free native plant to the first 24 participants. Kid-friendly craft included.

Kids’ Day in the Park
Over 7,000 people and 80 agencies participate as we “take over” San Pedro Springs Park. There is entertainment, photo opportunities with Daniel Tiger, and great energy.

Wings to Fly Young Playwright Festival
The ALAS Youth Theatre Company presents the Wings to Fly Young Playwright Festival, a collection of short plays written by emerging young writers from the San Antonio area. Audiences will enjoy a diverse array of new works written by our next generation of playwrights. Friday’s performance is a FREE preview. Full performances take place on Saturday and Sunday.

The Northeast Independent School District Used Book Sale
This annual event, a favorite of book lovers across the city, sells used books and DVDs to benefit the local units, Council, the NEISD community and the city of San Antonio by offering books at a very low price, thus promoting literacy in the home. Paperbacks are .50 each. Hardbacks and DVDs are $1 each. Sunday is Bag Day (Fill your first bag for $15 and it’s ust $10 to fill each additional bag).

    BTW, Ingram Mall has “Breakfast with the Easter Bunny” for the Kidgets Club ($5 for a year) this saturday from 9-11.
