Join Tony Kustelski, Alamo Area Master Naturalist, to learn about the Arrowheads and Clovis points that Native Americans used for hunting, cleaning hides, preparing food and for spiritual ceremonies. FREE LEGO® Store Monthly Mini Model Build! This month: LEGO® Alien and Space Dog. On the first Tuesday of each month, LEGO Stores provide a limited quantity of free mini model sets for kids ages 6-14. One free per child while supplies last. Phil Hardberger Park Nature Program – Ramblin’ Reptiles. Find out what its like to be a snake or lizard in San Antonio: Where do they fit in our urban ecology? Blaine Eaton explains how the reptiles of South Texas survive in our urban and rural environments. Free to attend but suggested donation is $3 per individual or $5 per family. Story Time Stampede is offered at the Briscoe Western Art Museum on the second Saturday of every month at 11:00am and again at 1:00pm. Children 12 and under receive free admission. Adults are just $5 each.

Free Family Concert: Youth Orchestras of San Antonio with the San Antonio Symphony, Side by Side. Admission is free but this is a first come, first seated event. Arrive early! Pre-concert activities, including an instrument petting zoo, begin at 2:00 p.m. One-hour concert begins at 3:00 p.m. Family Concerts are created for kids ages 4-11 but everyone is welcome.

San Antonio’s Martin Luther King, Jr. March
This 2.75-mile march, commemorating Dr. King’s life and legacy, is open to all. The March begins at MLK Academy, located in the 3500 block of MLK Drive. It ends at Pittman-Sullivan Park, located at 1101 Iowa.

Tuesday, January 20, San Antonio Children’s Museum, 305 E. Houston Street, 78205, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
HEB Free Family Night at the San Antonio Children’s Museum. Kids and adults receive free admission to the San Antonio Children’s Museum every third Tuesday. Take advantage of free parking on Tuesdays at downtown city-operated facilities after 5:00 p.m. Fills up quickly so arrive early!

Superheroes Night at Cody Branch Library. This superheroes party encourages kids to dress up as their favorite superhero for games, stories, and more fun.

Phil Hardberger Park Nature Walk: Soils and Plant Life. Nature walk to learn about soil and geology. Fifth Annual Jammin’ Jams Fruit and Nut Tree Adoption. 750 fruit and nut trees, including apple, apricot, fig, peach, pear, plum, pomegranate, Fuyu persimmon, pecan, and citrus trees, will be adopted to attendees, courtesy of the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department. Classes and demonstrations also provided.

Belly laugh with Tacky Penguin stories, make your own black and white craft, share a fishy treat, and strike a wacky pose with Tacky. Bring your camera: this is gonna be one funny photo op! Don’t miss First Sundays for Families at the San Antonio Museum of Art. Everyone gets free admission to the museum between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Then, First Sundays for Families starts at 12:00 p.m. and kids get in free from then until 4:00 p.m. (adults arriving after 12pm are $10 each).
