September is Hunger Action Awareness Month and San Antonio is going orange! According to the San Antonio Food Bank:
More than 230,000 people in Southwest Texas rely on the Food Bank’s network of programs and services— and over half a million Southwest Texans are at risk of going hungry.
The list below highlights what San Antonio businesses, organizations, and individuals are doing to raise awareness around the challenge of fighting hunger in America.
Want to get involved? Attend an event. Organize a food drive or a fundraiser at your school, church, or playgroup. Collect cans of food and take them to the San Antonio Food Bank, along with your children, to get them involved in helping end hunger. Or make a financial donation to the San Antonio Food Bank.
