What San Antonio moms are writing about: the Weekly Link Up for May 26 – June 1, 2014

Recent posts by San Antonio mom bloggers and the Weekly Link Up for May 26 - June 1 2014
If last week’s San Antonio Mom Blogs link up is any indication, local mom bloggers aren’t slowing down as summer approaches. Last week’s link up featured posts that showed us how to get longer lashes in a flash and introduced us to a comfortable and stylish new clothing line. We learned how to bake the perfect Texas sheet cake for those summer gatherings, and why a trip to Gruene just might be the perfect staycation.

Here are a few more of the amazing array of posts San Antonio mom bloggers wrote and shared last week. Be sure to visit last week’s linkup to read them all.

Amanda recently welcomed her second daughter into the world but this birth was completely unlike her first. See where and how she choose to deliver her sweet daughter in this gorgeously photographed post.

Marla tempted us to visit the Iron Cactus on the San Antonio Riverwalk with mouth-watering photos of their savory Mexican dishes. She’s giving away a $75 gift card to Iron Cactus too!

A girl after my own #SA2020Resolutions park-lovin’ heart, Inga shows off the newly renovated Travis Park, in the heart of downtown San Antonio. With brightly colored tables, chairs, and umbrellas, and free sports equipment and books to borrow, it looks like the ultimate park retreat. Inga also tackles the tough topic of how to talk with your kids about the focal point of the park, a Confederate war memorial.

Denise fancies herself as a tourist in her own town. And we’re lucky she does. On her blog, San Antonio Tourist, Denise does a fantastic job introducing readers — even long-time San Antonio natives — to hidden gems, like Chico’s Bakery on the south side of San Antonio. The next time we’re craving true Mexican pastries, we now know exactly where to go.

And, San Antonio mom blogger Stepfanie has a new blog: the San Antonio Mom Shopping Guide. Last week she reminded us to be sure to download the SAVE app provided free by Visit San Antonio to get great coupons and discounts for San Antonio summer fun. Whether you’re a local or visiting the Alamo City this summer, this app is your go-to for San Antonio savings.

Now it’s time for this week’s San Antonio Mom Blogs’ Link Up. Share your posts here all week long!
