Today is “Lips Appreciation Day” Let’s talk about our lips with our kids!
Materials
- Camera
- Printer
- Magazines or newspapers with pictures of people in them
- Paper
- Glue
- Scissors
What to do
Take pictures of your face and your preschooler’s face. Encourage your child to make silly faces and you do so yourself…its fun to just be a kid with your child! Print the pictures off.
Then go through the magazines with your child and look for pictures of people. Have your child point to the lips on all the people and cut them out. Then cut out the lips from the pictures of yourselves. Help your child make a collage of lips. See if your child can find their own lips in their collage.
