Stuffed Tummy Teddy Bear

Your preschooler will enjoy making and playing with this adorable teddy bear stuffed with holiday treats. Using inexpensive materials, you and your preschooler will find this holiday craft project a fun way to enjoy some quality time while making a special holiday memory.

Materials You Will Need

Black shiny fabric paint
Red puffy fabric paint
Teddy bear cookie cutter
Polyester stuffing
Brown felt square
Marking pen
Tacky glue
Wrapped candies

How to Make It

Step 1:

With the teddy bear cookie cutter, trace two teddy bear shapes onto the brown felt square. Cut out.

Step 2:

Cut out a 2″ square from the remaining brown felt.

Step 3:

Glue the two teddy bear shapes together, leaving a small opening at the top. Allow the glue to dry.

Step 4:

Stuff the bear with the polyester fiberfill stuffing. Glue the opening together. Glue the 2″ square onto the teddy bear’s tummy, creating a pocket. Allow to dry.

Step 5:

With the black shiny fabric paint, draw eyes, nose, and mouth.

Step 6:

With the red puffy fabric paint, draw a bow tie. You can also use red paint to decorate the teddy bear’s tummy pocket. Allow to dry.

Step 7:

Place the wrapped candies into the teddy bear’s tummy pocket to give him a stuffed tummy!
